Day 29 with Color Iteration


 

Practicing Sketching Crabs in preparation for Saturday's Plein Air Event. I will be part of the Annapolis Artists Alliance's plein air event, this Saturday, March 20, 2021 from noon to three.  We will be painting crabs and oysters to celebrate Maryland Day

 Bob and I had a wonderful time painting with Janice Russell Beck, old and new friends in the Alsatian region of France in late May/early June 2022.  I have not painted much watercolor recently and the sketchbook, Janice gave each of us, was put to good use helping me reacquaint myself with this medium and regain my confidence.  Here is most of what I painted while there.  As always there are a few unfinished pieces and watercolor doodles. This waterfall was inside of a cave. Looks like it is falling on her head. Continental Divide.
